DEVELOPMENT OF BIOCOMPATIBLE ALLOYS & GEOPOLYMERS
Aimed to (i) develop new unconventional technologies to valorise green energy by regenerable biocomposites, (iii) develop eco-friendly materials (geopolymers, biomaterials etc.) and new technologies for green energy production.
After researching the best options that can enhance the materials’ properties în order to become sustainable for future of mankind.
Geopolymers can be used as construction materials or even as water filters. On the other side, the biocompatible alloys can be applied in products, such as titanium mandibular reconstruction plates (2.0 mm), mini osteosynthesis plates and microplates in shapes, orthopedic plates with different sizes (15 mm -20 mm).
We apply characterisation methods that can provide information about the structural features, such as composition, structure, phases, constituents, and defects of different materials.
We are able to determine the thermal behavior of the materials concerning the conductivity, referring in most cases to the temperature range in which they are used.
This type of analysis highlights the mechanical properties of the geopolymers, respectively alloys (hardness, modulus of elasticity, mechanical strength, elongation, etc.).
This test method is used after the Research and Development phase, to determine the stability of the alloys in human liquids.
